With so many different Bible teachers, preachers and motivational speakers out there these days each giving you a different concept on how to live a victorious Christian life, it at times becomes over whelming. So many times we go searching for answers to how to live victorious as Christians and we find lenghty elaborations on scripture and breakdowns of theory, theology and hermeneutics. But these articles, books, sermons or lessons never seem to answer the question of how to put these things into practice in your own life. They are filled with informative translations of the scriptures. They give scripture reference after scripture reference showing examples of these principals in action, but fall just short of telling you the steps necessary to see the fulfillment of these promises in your life.

After years of searching and trying I found it was becoming increasingly more confusing in how to live a victorious life. I had so many different teachings, techniques and ideals that I was attempting to but into practice but it seemed that no matter how hard I tried I was not experiencing the benefits I desired or expected from the Word of God. Then one day I heard the Lord say to me you are making this thing too hard. So once again I was confused. What was I doing too much of? What did I need to eliminate in my Christian life walk? After wondering on this and continued study it was a few years later that I received the revelation that it wasn't what I was doing too much of but rather what I wasn't doing enough of.
In this series of articles I will attempt not only to explain the scripture and give you the scriptural reference but also how to put the principals into practice to experience the type of life we all long to have in Christ.

Now let's start from the beginning. In the first book of the Bible the first chapter we find a much overlooked principal. We get so caught up in the poetic concept of the scripture and the awesomeness of the Creator that we just read it and then sort of skim past. It tell us that the Spirit of God moved upon the water. The very next statement says And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. (Genesis 1:3)
Here we find a very important principal. The Spirit of God moved upon the face of the water but it wasn't until God Said let there be light did light appear.
Let's look at another Scripture; And, behold, the word of the LORD [came] unto him, saying, This shall not be thine heir; but he that shall come forth out of thine own bowels shall be thine heir. And he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be And he believed in the LORD; and he counted it to him for righteousness Genesis 15:4-6. Here we find Abraham believing the words of the Lord and it was counted to him for righteousness.
There is a very important principal in those two verses a principal that once we learn it understand it and put it into practice then we will begin live a more victorious life.
The next elements in this principal is found in the books of Isaiah and Jeremiah. These are two very familiar scripture that we love to read and quote; For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper [in the thing] whereto I sent it. Isaiah 55:10-11
Then the LORD said to me, "You have seen well, for I am watching over My word to perform it." Jeremiah 1:12 (NASB)

Now the principal is that The Lord God watches over His word to perform it and His word shall not return unto Him void but shall accomplish what He has set it out to do. But how does His word return unto him? This is the principal His word can only return unto Him if it is spoken. In the first scripture we listed the Spirit of God was moving over the face of the water but it was only after God spoke His words did light appear. And what made it appear? The Spirit of God. Here we need to examine a couple more scriptures.

And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God. And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS....Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man? And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God. Luke 1:30,34,35 (KJV)

If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall [your] heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him? But some of them said, He casteth out devils through Beelzebub the chief of the devils. But if I with the finger of God cast out devils, no doubt the kingdom of God is come upon you. Luke 11:13,15,20

Now let's put it all together. God watches over His word to perform it; it shall not return to Him void; the Spirit was upon the face of the water; the Holy Ghost came upon Mary after the angel brought her the Word of God the POWER of the Highest overshadowed her. Jesus said he casted out devils with the FINGER of God.

From these Scriptures we can conclude that the HOLY SPIRIT IS THE POWER OF GOD am I right? It is the Holy Spirit that manifests the Word of God in our lives. So here is the Principal, we have to send the Word of God back to Him so that the Holy Spirit can manifest the promise into our lives so that we can live a victorious Christian Life. It is not until the Holy Spirit receives the Word of God does he begin to manifest it. (The Spirit of God was upon the face of the water)

And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: 1John 5:14
Put me in remembrance: let us plead together: declare thou, that thou mayest be justified. Isaiah 43:26

We have confidence that if we ask anything according to His Will and His will is His word that he hears us and we shall have the petition for which we ask. God said put him in remembrance in other words remind him of His word that we may be justified.

The Principal is to speak the Word of God into the atmosphere the Holy Spirit then will manifest the Word of God.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. John 1:1 The Word of god is God so when we speak the Word of God into our lives and situations we have put God into the middle of your life and your situations. Make the Scripture personal to yourself. For example confess the scriptures for yourselves:
'Because I do not walk in the council of the ungodly nor stand in the way of sinners, or sit in the seat of the scornful. Because I delight in the law of the Lord I am like a tree planted by the rivers of waters and will bring forth my fruit in season my leaf shall not wither and everything I do shall prosper.' Psalm 1:1

'I am the righteousness of God through Christ Jesus so I will not be forsaken nor will my seed beg bread." 2Corinthians 5:21, Psalm 37:25

If we will put into practice this biblical Principal we can begin to live a life that God will reward and become victors rather than victims. SEND GOD'S WORD BACK TO HIM so that His Power (Holy Spirit) can manifest it into your life.
